Stuck on the yo-yo dieting pattern? Try micro meals that are macro balanced. When you munch on small meals that are properly combined then you will lose weight and your body will burn fat. It’s a simple combo each meal includes protein, healthy carbs and fats. Eating this way makes life more enjoyable and your food plan sustainable. You can go to picnics, parties, restaurants; family gatherings even on vacation and sample small portions of food (properly combined) and still lose weight. If you are unsure of how to balance foods the easiest way to do it is follow a simple 40:40:30 plan I have found 40% protein 30% carbs and 30% fat works for my body. There are a lot of variations to this but start here and modify until you lose weight. It depends on your metabolism and body type.
Here is a Facebook live post about Damage Control Monday. It was after the Superbowl but true for any Monday.
I finally did it! I finished my Virtual Weight Loss Coaching Program and can offer it to you!!!
The actual link to subscribe is on the home page but I was so excited I had to share with you. I am so grateful for all of the support and encouragement you have all given me while I have been working on this project. I especially appreciate your patience. I know a lot of you have been asking me when it would be ready. It is truly my honor to be part of your journey and you being part of mine.
It’s that time of year when you start decluttering and cleaning up. Get rid of the old and make room for the new. I like to do a good detox in the spring. It’s not only is good for my body it frees my mind. Not thinking about meal prep, planning and eating takes up a lot of thought. Not to mention the time involved. It should be a plant based programs such as juice, soups, master cleanse, etc. I would also recommend a good probiotic. I found one that works 5 ways and is getting some great results. Some of the benefits from a short 1-5 days will include less boating, cleaning out the intestinal track, resetting your system, kick starting weight loss and mood elevation.
If you are embarking on a detox here are some of my tips:
- Pick a date that you will start.
- Have a goal of how long you are going to do this.
- Take it one day at a time.
- Know what you will be doing (be exact).
- Get an accountability buddy.
- Tell your family and friends what you need for support.
- Drink at least 8 glasses of water.
- Take a good probiotic.
- Freshly made juices or smoothies will satisfied you more than store bought.
- Celebrate when you finish with plant based meals, ease into eating meat.
You could easily drop 3-5 pounds due to all of the buildup in your intestinal system and water weight. Enjoy how good it feels when you are less bloated and not revolving your life around food. If you do decide to detox keep me posted on facebook.com/mindoverplatter1 on your results.
If you want to join me on my journey I am adding going to be adding TriPlex to my regime. I am kicking it into high gear friends!
This could be the season that changes everything. It only takes one moment to make one decision that makes the difference. What if the spring of 2017 is that season for you? What would your summer look like? How will you feel having made progress? These are good questions to ask yourself.
As your Virtual Weigh Loss Coach, I am here to assist you in getting your head in the game. You know how what to eat and how to exercise to let go of the weight. The work is freeing your mind of the junk food that you call thoughts and beliefs. I’ve been doing this for over 2 decades. You can trust me on this. The main thing holding you back is not your body, it’s your brain. We can redirect this. I promise you that the path you are seeking is one step away. It can be your next step if you so choose. Start this very moment. Take a deep breath, close your eyes, see yourself in a healthy fit body. Feel the positive energy that lives in this body. Make THE decision that will CHANGE you for good. Repeat to yourself “My health is one of my highest priorities.” Now imagine if this statement was 100% true for you…what one decision would you make?
It doesn’t have to be a major one, the slightest change will make a big difference. Wake up 15 minutes earlier to do some morning stretches? Eliminate sugar from your coffee? Walk during lunch? Pack your food the night before? Track what you eat? All of these are excellent. What is calling out to you? Make a commitment to yourself.
Write this down on a post it note. Keep it in front of you all day. Remember the positive feelings allowing that to inspire you from within. Notice how many opportunities pop up around you to support this healthy choice.
I would love to hear from you on this. What one thing are you committed to doing this spring to help you take a step to creating a healthier you? Snap a picture of your post it note and show me on my facebook page: www.facebook.com/mindoverplatter1
